17th Annual WRFC Golf Tournament


With the summer 7s season in the rearview mirror, WRFC is starting to look ahead towards the fall campaign and fund-raising season.  With that in mind, the fall's major event is this year's WRFC Classic Golf Tournament.

The tournament this year is on Sunday, October 5th (Registration at 7:00am with a 7:30am start time) at Leicester Country Club in Leicester, MA.

The cost this year is $100 for a single player, $400 for a foursome, $100 for a hole sponsor and $475 for a foursome/hole sponsor package.  Player fees cover:
 - 18 holes of golf
 - Steak dinner and awards presentation at the Banner Bar & Grille
 - Contests: hole in one (sponsored by Worcester Physical Therapy), closest to the pin, longest drive and more
 - A chance to wear the coveted WRFC Classic Champion's jacket

Hole sponsors get a sign announcing their sponsorship at the tee box and a mention at the awards ceremony. A link to the registration form can be found here . WRFC Practice Schedule UPDATE

 Worcester has a revised spring practice schedule starting on Thursday, 6/5/2008.  As of that date, Worcester will be practicing 15s (these practices are mandatory ) on Thursdays at QCC (directions) from 7 to 9 PM and practicing for 7s (touch) on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 PM at Firehouse field (directions).  Get out, get fit and get ready for a successful fall campaign.

Players: get CIPPed and pay your dues !!

2008 Fall Season Opens 

 






 As the summer season draws to a close and props are being allowed back onto the pitch, Worcester is looking to build on a successful summer session and right some old wrongs with its first home preseason game on Saturday, August 9th at 1:00pm vs Old Gold at Quinsigamond Community College.  Players should arrive no later than 11:30am to get kitted and warmed up.  Directions to the QCC fields can be found here.
